Implantable identifier is a new technology which can record personal information, like a "ID". In the past, people used to chips into pets or farm animals tracked them if they got lost. Currently, someone suggests that we can put it below the skin of children to protect them. However, someone else believes the technology is too dangerous to continue.
In fact, it is an advanced technology which can help people a lot. In many countries, human trafficking is a serious problem. Many parents miss their children who will not come back anymore deeply. Once parents found children lost, they can check the information of children as quickly as they can.Then, police and parents can find the children easily.
Personally,I do not think benefits outweigh the risks. We should think carefully. Nowadays, people rely too much on high-technology. Sometimes, they will ignore the potential risks, which may cause some negative results. As children grow up, they are not innocent kids anymore. Parent also should respect children's rights. However, it's painful to put the implantable identifier out with long time.
To sum up, everything has two sides. If we use correctly, morphine also can help patients to release pain. Therefore, although implantable identifie is a useful high-technology, we still have to think twice before using.

ReplyDeleteWell, what you said about children's right is undoubtedly significant for individual rights, and I understand why you disagree with that inserting chips could bring more negative effects. But as long as i am concerned, it should not be a big deal as long as government has good supervision and management on that issue,and parents who did the chip action should be responsible for keeping the information under privacy because they are guardians of their children.
However, the implantable identifier also has some potential risks for humans' bodies. If parents are careless when accidents happened, children are dangerous.

ReplyDeleteimplant the computer chip in children's body and show their location to their parent is a type of tracking, parents show respect children's privacy even they are very young. and parents also do not have the right to track their children.
